మీర్ ఆలం ట్యాంక్ కి సమీపంలో ఉన్న ఈ నెహ్రూ జూలాజికల్ పార్క్ ప్రఖ్యాతి పొందిన పర్యాటక ఆకర్షణ కేంద్రం. నిజానికి, హైదరాబాద్ లో ఉన్న మూడు ప్రధాన ఆకర్షణ లలో ఒకటిగా ఈ పార్క్ స్థానం సంపాదించుకుంది. 1959 లో ఏర్పాటయిన ఈ పార్క్ ప్రజలకి 1963 లో అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చింది.

SHILPARAMAM HYDERABAD
Shilparamam shopping is the famous not
just residents of Hyderabad but also among tourists. Craftsmen from all
over India, display their works here, varying from traditional
jewellery, hand-woven saris, shawls, dresses, bed sheets, etc; and
hand-crafted wooden and metal wares. If you are looking for some street
shopping, you have option for that too. There are many shops selling
clothing of every kind in cheaper rates. All you require is some flair
for bargaining.
However, along with shopping in
Shilparamam, visitors can also relish some spicy chaats and mouth
watering snacks. For art lovers, there are always dance performances and
activities conducted on the open theatre with ample of seating facility

Ticket price for boating is Rs.30 per person.

Shilparamam which conducts various kinds of workshops, training camps

harvest in the month of January and ten days of Dussehra in the month of
October, various cultural activities are organised. Along with these,
Kite Festival, Navarathri, South India Festival, Ugadi, Annual Crafts
Festival are also celebrated in traditional ways at Shilparamam. One can
visit Shilparamam at any time of the year, but visiting during
festivals will definitely add more colours
Although open throughout the week,
Shilparamam timings are from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm so plan your visit
accordingly. Entry fee for shilparamam Hyderabad is also minimal. It is
Rs.40 per person for adults and Rs. 20 per child.

SANGI TEMPLE HYDERABAD
Sanghi Temple Hyderabad: Situated in Sanghi Nagar which is 25 km away from Hyderabad city, Sanghi temple
stands beautifully on the hillock ‘Paramanand Giri’. Built in the
Chola-Chalukya style of architecture, the temple is a place worth
visiting. This temple was built in the year of 1991 which was completed
in a just 18 months! And since then it has been attracting tourists from
everywhere. As the name suggests, it was developed by a leading
industrial group of Southern India - Sanghi Group. They primarily
operate their business from the city of Hyderabad.
Sanghi Temple in Hyderabad
captivates everyone with its architectural beauty as much as with its
religious associations. Sanghi Temple, one of the popular , is also quite famous location for various movie shoots, resulting in its increased popularity.
Although the main deity of the temple
is Lord Venkateshwara, one can find other important Hindu Gods as well.
The idol of Lord Venkateswara is said to be the replica of the one that
is in Tirumala. Near the temple of Lord Venkateswara you will find
Parvati Temple. Tourists can also find Lord Anjaneya while on the way to
the main temple. Another nearby temple houses Lord Shiva along with
Goddess Kamalambika. Situated close are also the temples of Lord Rama,
Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikeya along with that of Goddess Durga.
The temple complex has a holy garden called as Pavitra Vanam which provides for the flowers and leaves used for performing prayers. The temple also has a Kalyana Mandapam where auspicious functions and ceremonies such as marriages are performed.
The vast complex of this temple also
offers amiable space for visitors to sit at leisure and bask in its
beauty. The lawn in front of temple, which has been beautifully
maintained, offers a perfect setting to sit and relax.
The Sanghi temple timings are from 8.30 am to 10.30 am and 4 pm to 6 pm.
If you are keen on attending the pooja, plan your Sanghi temple visit
around 6pm and 8pm. This temple is perfect getaway for a weekend. Either
with family or alone, you can visit anytime with anyone! For those who
are planning to visit over the weekends, there is no cause to worry as
the Sanghi temple timings on Sunday is same as its timings on other days
of the week.
If you are visiting Sanghi Temple, do
try to catch the glimpse of the temple in night. When lighted, the view
is spectacular. Visiting during festivals such as Shivaratri, Sri Rama
Navami, Krishnashtami, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Dussera, Hanuman Jayanthi and
Brahmotsavams can be a good idea as these festivals are celebrated with
much enthusiasm and devotion.

ABOUT BIRLA MANDIR
The enchanting modern Birla Mandir is located at the south end of Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad. It stands atop the Kala Pahad, the twin hillock of the Naubat Pahad. The Birlas (industrialists who have built several temples in India) built this temple in 1976. The temple has been built with white marbles from Rajasthan.
Kausalya supraja Rama poorva sandhya pravartate... the mantra chanted to arouse Lord Venkateswara (Vishnu), to whom the temple is dedicated, can be heard at dawn. And as for the evenings, they are a treat to the ears in this hilltop temple. Sweet melodies of cuckoos and the kirtanas of Annamayya, Tyagaraja and Ramadas against the backdrop of an orange-red sky pleasantly soothe the soul.
Mixed Architecture
Birla Mandir combines the architectural styles of Orissan and South Indian temples. A Rajagopuram built in the South Indian style greets the visitors. The tower over the main shrine of Lord Venkateswara called the 'Jagadananda Vimanam' is built in the Orissan style, while the towers over the shrines of the consorts are built in the South Indian style. Exotic scenes from the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata are finely sculpted in marble. In the inner shrine of the temple is a replica of the Venkateswara temple at Tirupati. The brass flagstaff rises to a height of 42 feet.
The granite image of the presiding deity is about 11ft tall and a carved lotus forms an umbrella for this image. There are several carvings in marble, in the adjoining 'Mukha Mandapam' - depicting scenes from Indian mythology.
Other Shrines in the Temple
The consorts of Venkateswara, Padmavati and Andal, are housed in separate shrines. There is also a temple dedicated to Buddha in this complex, with fresco paintings describing his life and work.
Birla Mandir offers a spectacular sight when illuminated at night. A tour to Hyderabad is considered incomplete without a visit to the enchanting Birla Mandir.
The temple is open for visitors from 7.00 am to 12.00 am and 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm on all days of the week.

Seven Key areas have been identified to achieve under.Gram Jyothi – a program to empower gram panchayats, it is considered essential to prepare village development plans for each gram panchayats through a participatory approach involving the Panchayat, the self help groups, people and all interested in the holistic development of the village. Gram Jyothi Program will be started to cover the following 7 key areas.
